I was at work and was going down the stairs and my foot got caught in my pants. My right ankle twisted a little and I would have fallen down the stairs but luckily there was a handrail. I work as a cashier so I’m on my feet the whole day standing in one spot. I had some discomfort that first day but it was okay. I came home and went to bed and then went to work the next day. My ankle hurt a little more that day and when I came home it really started to hurt. This is the third day and it hurts more today. I can bear weight but if I put my food flat on the ground and lift the front of it up I can only go so far and it starts hurting and then hurts more when I put it back down. Is this a sprain or something else? I’ve been taking Aleve and it doesn’t seem to be helping at all. Is there something else I should be doing? Should I wrap it up or stay off my feet? I’m only working 4 1/2 hours today then I’m off tomorrow and Saturday so I plan to rest my foot tomorrow. I am going out to a concert where I will be on my feet so I am a little worried about that. Any ideas as to what I can do to help the pain would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
